About
Rhiannon Lewis
Registered Psychologist
Hey there, I’m Rhiannon, but you can call me Rhi.
First off, I want to welcome you to Selfful Psychology. I am so thrilled that you are here!
Below is just a little bit about me, so we can start to get to know each other.
I’m a registered psychologist and AHPRA Board-Approved Supervisor, practising in Melbourne/Naarm, Australia. I’m dedicated to providing a warm, non-judgmental, and supportive space where you can feel truly seen and heard.
I take an empathetic and collaborative approach and like to work with clients to explore their values, set meaningful goals, and navigate life’s challenges with confidence and ease. I believe that the foundation of effective therapy is a strong therapeutic relationship, one built on trust, open communication, and genuine connection.
Recognising that each person’s journey is unique, I take an individualised and integrative approach, drawing from evidence-based therapies including:
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Eating Disorders (CBT-E)
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP)
Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT)
Schema Therapy
Mindfulness-Based Therapies
Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT).
My approach is LGBTQIA.+ inclusive, neuroaffirming, trauma-informed, non-diet, weight-inclusive & health at every size (HAES) approach. Ensuring that all individuals feel safe, respected, and empowered. I welcome clients from all walks of life who feel I may be the right fit for their mental health and them.
Outside of work, I like to spend quality time with my family and friends, travel when possible, watch anything sports-related and spend time outside. I also love a good walk while listening to a podcast or having a good yap with friends.
